The Role:

You will collaborate with our client’s design and materials teams to understand and execute seasonal product concepts/development. Work with customers and vendors to make samples, review pricing and lead time. Identify key issues in trim construction and quality and offer insights to reach resolutions in a timely manner.


  • Work with client and vendor during development stages and sample making process to review, evaluate, update and ultimately support the decision- making process that leads to on–time sample approval and margin goals.
  • Work with vendor on trim testing by identifying the type of testing required based on brand standards, reviewing and reporting on the status of the tests.
  • Work with vendors and collaborate with the brand developer on the functional testing of trims with materials as they will function in a garment to meet quality standard.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of the trim manufacturing process with the ability to contribute ideas which will enhance the overall performance of product
  • Mgmt. may assign additional projects as needed.


  • Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in developing and testing of trims, woven labels and HT labels in sportswear industry are preferrable.
  • Understanding of trim manufacturing, woven labels and HT applications as well as general garment construction methods.
  • Have good network with trim suppliers in Viet Nam.
  • Computer proficiency with office software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to analyze test information and provide feedback as needed.
  • Must score between the high end of average to superior range for color discrimination on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue test
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Seniority level: Min 1-2 year experience in garment industry
